If you read nothing else, please read this and pass it on......

I heard about this through Dotty Cookie. If you do nothing else today, please look at this and copy and paste so as many women as possible read about it. This was taken from an amazing blog called toddlerplanet, which follows one woman's journey through cancer, it's a humbling read...............

Wow -I had a tough year last year, I found a lump, it took for ever to get an appointment at the hospital (loss of my papers caused delay!) I had to go back and fourth, biopsy, mammograms, more biopsy. I found out a few weeks before christmas that it was all clear. I can't stress enough how important it is to get every tiny bump, mis-shapen breast, weird tingles etc etc checked out. After reading your post today I will promote awarness whole heartedly! - don't forget aswell, its not just you going through it, remember your partner and family, they will find it quite upsetting too, believe me!
Its all ok now, but its still scary! x

thank you for posting this.
my best friend had breast cancer two years ago - it has now returned and is in her hip and liver - we have to face the future without her in it.
i hope lots of women get to read this article and just stop for one moment in their busy lives, as the reality is it could happen to any of us.

Thank you so much for posting this. It's important we know our bodies and that we trust and LISTEN to our bodies. Your experience so powerfully reinforces this for me.

You're in my thoughts.

Thanks for this, Julia. Having had some itching in my breasts, last night I suddenly remembered reading your blog entry. After worrying, I did some research and found a UK website www.cancerbackup.org.uk (freephone helpline 0808 800 1234). I have just spoken to a lovely nurse there who has reassured me a great deal. I'm keeping an eye on the situation but have decided not to rush to the doctor just yet. I too had never heard of this cancer; we all "know" that breast cancer=lump, so this information could save our life. Thanks
