An empty house, a cup of tea, a large (very) piece of cake, the latest copy of Country Living, a warm blanket and a comfy chair, what more could you ask for??..........
A week and a half to go and hopefully I will be sitting down to a quiet coffee, cake and magazine (wish it was that one) - no blanket. School starts back on Jan 30 - yippeeee!
Julia, Thank you for your comments on my blog - I love my Aga too! In our old house we had a two oven Aga and promised ourselves a 4 oven one if we moved, and we did and so it came! It has been worth every penny and I love cooking on it. Kathyx PS More pics of your GORGEOUS HOUSE PLEASE!!! I read some of your previous blog and adored the photo of your cupboard - I have one in my kitchen but mine is a complete mess - I think I may post a picture of it! Where did you get the shelf trim? I think it looks fab.
Hi Julia, the background on my screen is an image of Cath Kidston's Antique Rose wallpaper which I got off the internet somewhere, can't remember where now. If you would like to use it too I can send you the pic, if you need instructions how to set it as wallpaper let me know and I'll include those too (let me know your email address in that case, mine's in my blog profile). have a good weekend, Lucy x
Just heaven, no noise just you time. Arrr the bliss. Any room for another? lol My monsters (well one of them) are driving me mad. It's the rain and wind mads them go crazy. does it have the same affect on your two?
Look forward to our coffee, be intouch soon. Hugs. Catherine x
Hi, I have to say, when I see the latest issue of Country Living magazine on the shelf at my news agent...I get really excited! It is also my idea of bliss to sit with the mag and a cuppa and just relax...until the kids come home from school that is.. x

Well, another slice of cake maybe? That spot looks so cosy, could stay there for a very long time I'll bet!
