Bless her. My youngest had little tea set and loved to make tea with it when she came home from school. Funny, we do not show little girls how to play Mum it just happens.

Hi I'm a "lurker" who wants to someday have my very own blog. I'm a stay at home/homeschooling mother of three boys in Houston Texas. Let me tell you tea time is a big deal in our house. I have passed on my love of all things vintage/shabby chic to my boys. They are ruff and tumble type of boys who can also sit down and enjoy tea in a flowered tea cup with rose printed napkins. Although I love enjoying this time with my boys, seeing your tea time makes me ache for a daughter.

Sorry forgot my name at the end there.

Hi, sorry to post again but I just thought I'd tell you that I am no longer a "lurker". When my boys were napping I got a chance to browse through your blog (the WHOLE thing, it was a long nap). You are a funny person with a life similar to my own. Anyhow it inspired me to go ahead and create my own blog. I named it "Teacups and Teddybears". I hope to be able to figure it all out soon and post pics in the near future. So thank you. XO, Erica

That takes me back a few years... I ♥ my little china tea set and would spend many happy hours force feeding my dolls and teddies with an evil brew!
My first visit to a Santa's Grotto.. Circa 1961 was most memorable.. I cried because I found Santa so scary but I did come home with a gorgeous miniature china tea set.. How times have changed!

What a sweetheart, looks like she's doing a grand job. Lovely shots of your house too. Poor old alium, I'm standing guard over mine (although the organic slug pellets are doing a good job around the delphiniums.)
Stephx - I've just bought a CK rose handcream online. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I love tea sets. It;s amazing what children find to put in the cups though! We've had a fair share of insects swimming around in our "tea"!

I absolutely LOVE your faucets! We're looking into changing ours soon... but I don't think yours would match with the style of the house.

If your friend gets any of the new Greengate fabrics or teatowels please let me know and does the door mat come in any other colours? I'm after lilac but if not, I'll just order the red would look cool with our hallway.
Does she have a website or blog?
Thanks honey, hope to see you soon.
Hugs.

Hi Julia, oh it's such a hard life being a little woman, isn't it. I can't remember the next Shepton date off hand, it's sometime in August. If you drop me an email I'll check and let you know.
Hope you're having a lovely sunny week,
